Megan Thee Stallion, born Megan Pete, has yet again proved why she is a force to be reckon with. I am going through a lot right now, so I think this song came at a great time in my life. One of my favorite songs by the female rapper is Anxiety from her album Traumazine. "I'm a bad b**** and I got bad anxiety. People call me rude cause I ain't lettin' 'em try me. Sayin' I'm a h* 'cause I'm in love with my body. Issues but nobody I could talk to about it."

For a while I agreed with that last line until I realized the resources I had and my MAIN resource: God. It is so important to seek help when you feel alone or like no one is listening because someone will listen. Therapy, support groups we live in a digital age where we can find the right person to talk to.

Unlocking A New Side To The Baddie

Anxiety unlocked a different side of my baddie interior, and showed me another side to Megan's baddie exterior. However, Cobra TRULY unlocked another level. God I really pray that Pete has the right people around her right now, because the lyrics in this song stung yet also hit home. The "WAP" rapper shared a post on Instagram about transformation linking it to a cobra. The major part that stood out to me was "Cobras embody the art of healing and renewal." So, it seems she is in a different place in her life. Also, maybe we all have a cobra moment - I think I am living in mine right now.

The Exterior Does Not Always Match The Interior

"Every night I cried, I almost died. And nobody close tried to stop me. Long as everybody gettin' paid, right? Everything'll be okay, right?... At night, I'm sitting in a dark room thinking. Probably why I always end up drinking. Yes, I'm very depressed... This p***** depressed..." It didn't take me long to get Pete's lyrics were a call for help. I commend her lack of fear to show us Megan Thee Stallion aka The Hottie with sad and depressed feelings. It's okay to be a Hot Girl with emotions. We don't always have to bottle everything up. Megan was the perfect example of the outside looking beautiful, but the inside sometimes being dark. You can be in love with you, you can have the "perfect" life and you can still be sad. Don't ever downplay what you feel because you may think you have it all right now. You can be a hottie with depression but please make sure you get help!

Cheating Line

I'm not even going to get into the cheating line, because that was foul on so many levels "whoever" did that to Ms. Pete (uhmmm you know who you are).
